Netflix Streams 10 Documentaries - Our Planet, Period End of Sentence And More For FREE On Their YouTube Channel For Students
OTT platform Netflix's yet another move will keep the students entertained and educated during this lockdown period. Platform streams 10 documentaries for free on their official YT channel for free
OTT platforms are just milking this opportunity that has arisen due to the lockdown, people are glued to the OTT platforms to binge watch many shows and movies, as they remained locked in their houses currently. Once again Netflix has left no stone unturned to make it extra special for teachers and students. In order to remain updated even during this lockdown, the OTT platform has decided to stream many shows and documentaries for free on their YouTube platform.
This content will also include 10 documentaries along with shows to enrich and enhance the knowledge of students during this lockdown. Earlier, Netflix had allowed the teachers to screen documentaries and use it as teaching lessons, but with schools being temporarily shut, they have decided to screen selective content from their platform for free on YouTube. This said content will be available on Netflix’s US Youtube Channel. Also making it more interactive will be the Q&A sessions between the viewers and creators, thus giving them the first hand information.
The list includes Our Planet, Period. End of Sentence, 13th (Film), Chasing Coral (Film), Explained , Babies, Knock Down the House, The White Helmets, Abstract: The Art of Design first season and Zion.
In a statement published in Business Standard, OTT platform had mentioned, “For many years, Netflix has allowed teachers to screen documentaries in their classrooms. However, this isn't possible with schools closed. So at their request, we have made a selection of our documentary features and series available on the Netflix US YouTube channel.”
